Punta Mita Rentals – The Year in Review

Dear Friends,

This month marks the departure of the majority of our “snowbird” friends. Many of the local residents who call Punta Mita home for the winter season head back to their other homes to beat the heat.

Those of us who stay behind can now relax a little. Suddenly, we find we have some time on our hands.

This is always a welcome time of year as it sometimes feels as though the winter season passes in a blur or arrivals, departures, hellos, goodbyes, cocktail hours and long work days. In May, the weather is warmer but we have yet to experience the high humidity levels of summer. We look forward to long, summer days to enjoy the beach after work, dinners at a later hour and more time to really enjoy the beautiful place we call home.

This does not mean we have little work going on. Yes, the area, in general, is quieter. So, this is a great time for couples who like tranquility to enjoy all that Punta Mita has to offer. And families with young children can take advantage of the break from school to enjoy almost deserted beaches.

Rental rates have just dropped to reflect the low season. This is a great time to book a Punta Mita vacation, so please check out this month’s featured properties.

The Year in Review

This is a good time of year to take stock of what just happened here from a business perspective.

The 2015-2016 winter season was phenomenal for rentals. I can easily say it was our best year so far! The properties we have been representing over the last few years were booked almost continuously from mid-December to mid-April. That was on the heels of an excellent Thanksgiving season.

Punta Mita Rentals Office
Here’s where we make your dream vacation happen!

I am very pleased to report that we are having an incredible amount of repeat business and are building very nice relationships with families from all over the world. Apparently, we are doing something right at Punta Mita Rentals. We focus on offering the best service around, both for our guests and for our owners.

We are now fully ensconced in our new offices on Avenida de las Redes in the POS ( Plaza Of Shops) building. Lisa has had her shop there for several years and now Punta Mita Rentals calls it home. Our office is conveniently located about halfway down the street that runs from the Punta Mita development to the ocean.

We now have our wonderful Property Management Department run by Luis Avila – who is wowing everybody he works with.

I am also delighted to announce the partnership we have formed with Chief Concierge Patricia Ceciarelli. Patty has a natural aptitude for making her clients happy by taking care of the most intricate details.

As with all businesses, we are learning more every day. Although we are proud of what we are doing, we know we can improve. We are all ears for your suggestions and ideas.

We feel that a “partnership” with our guests and the owners we represent is what we are striving for. Valued clients who keep coming back every year and recommend our services to their friends. And owners who know they can leave their very valuable properties in our hands.

We’re open from 10am – 5pm weekdays. We invite you to pop in anytime, say hello, see what we are doing, meet the team and take a look at some of the cool photography Kemi Vernon has been working on.

Work is all well and good, but where I come from we say we “work to live”. Living well is something we like to do here. And so will you when you book your summer holiday with Punta Mita Rentals. Come on down for a fabulous Punta Mita Vacation. We’ll have great fun, eat, drink and make merry!

See you in Paradise!
