Here in Punta Mita, we have two wonderful beach clubs. They’re the perfect place to spend lazy, hazy summer days with the family. And, you do not have to stray far from your rental home.
Enjoy the charming, family-friendly Residents’ Beach Club on Manzanillas Beach – a beach shared with guests of the Four Seasons Hotel. The younger crowd will love the kids’ pool and play area. Adults can head over to the wonderful gauzy, breezy beach cabanas for a relaxing massage or facial by the ocean. Or, you can opt for a meal or an “in the sand snack” from the club’s restaurant and bar which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Kapuri has a beach club for the exclusive use of renters with Premier Membership cards. The water here is quite shallow and generally provides safe swimming.
Our other exclusive destination, Punta Sayulita, offers guests staying within its gates a wonderful private beach club with pier, swim-up bar, water toys and a restaurant.
A Surfer’s Paradise
After a couple of days of lounging, you may want to hit the serious surf and make like a local. Guests come from around the globe to pit themselves against some of our surf breaks.
As you probably know about me by now, I am not exactly the surfer sort. Brooks Brothers doesn’t have a surfer look that fits my style, so I leave the wet stuff to Lisa and my kids. I do recommend you try it at least once. But before taking the plunge – read Lisa’s practical advice for newbie surfers.
