Champagne “Sparkler” Cocktail

We all start the New Year with plenty of “Sparkle”. But, by mid-month, we start to “fizzle out” a little. I’ve always found a “hair of the dog” to be the best path back to sizzle and sparkle.

The shot of tequila that is added to the champagne is guaranteed to chase away any January blues you may be feeling.

Champagne problems, anyone?

Champagne “Sparkler” Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Don Julio Blanco Tequila
  • Splash Simple syrup
  • 5 oz Champagne
  • Garnish: Lemon zest

Directions

Pour all the ingredients into a Champagne flute.
Garnish with lemon zest.

Of course, the other guaranteed way to sparkle 100% is to book one of my fabulous homes for a quick “Beat the Blues” escape. What could be better than sipping a nice flute of frosty champagne and tequila whilst watching the Pacific roll in from your cozy lounge chair on the best beach in Punta Mita, Sayulita or San Pancho?
